M.2, formerly known as the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), is a specification for internally mounted computer expansion cards and associated connectors. It replaces the mSATA standard, which uses the PCI Express Mini Card physical card layout and connectors. It adds functionality to PCIe Gen 3, SATA 3.0 and USB 3.0. It supports multiple function add-in cards including : WiFi, Bluetooth, Global Navigation Satellite Systems, Near Field Communication, Hybrid Digital Radio, Wireless Gigabit Alliance, Wireless Wide Area Network and Solid-State Storage. Rego offers a total solution for M.2 (NGFF) connectors, stand offs and screws with completed product series for 2.15h, 3.2h, 4.2h, 6.7h and 8.5h.
